TOLEDO (WTOL) - If you think raking leaves from trees is bothersome, try dealing with berries. That's what one north Toledo woman is doing. They're falling off the trees outside her property on the 2900 block of Higgins St., so she turned to Call 11 for Action problem solver Mika Highsmith for help.
Rosemary Mcgee takes pride in her house and keeps it up. But she says there are trees around her home that are turning her recently painted white home purple.
Smashed berries from three Japanese Pagoda trees that surround her home are raining on her house, she says. And, they're all in the city's right-of-way.
"When the wind gets in there they spread all over my house," Rosemary said. "It looks terrible."
She wants the city to remove them all, but that's not possible since they can't remove perfectly healthy trees.
