California Cobb Salad

1 head Romaine lettuce - tear into bite pieces, toss and place in large bowl
1 head Iceberg lettuce - tear into bite pieces, toss and place in large bowl
3 medium tomatoes - peel and slice. Arrange around outside of bowl
3 ripe avocados - peel and slice. Arrange around outside of bowl
1/4 pound Roquefort Cheese - crumble
8 slices of bacon - Cook until crisp, crumble
3 hard boiled eggs - chop fine
4 cups cooked chicken - sliver chicken
4 tablespoons chopped chives - arrange above ingredients in "stripes" over the salad

Dressing:
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
2/3 cup olive oil

Mix, shake or wisk well. At serving time pour dressing over salad and toss well.
Yield: 6 - 8 servings
