With out gas, Audrey Johnson and her family have had hard time getting by in this mobile home. "We've been putting extra clothes on so we can keep warm," she tells us.

They're making adjustments to stay warm, to eat and to bathe. Audrey tell us she's heating with electric heaters and cooking on hot plates.

Bathing is a big process. "Cold water... really cold," she says. "We've got to boil water to take baths or do dishes."

Johnson says it's not their fault. She says when they moved into this home back in June, they were told the furnace was in working order.

A couple of weeks ago, when they went to switch service into their name, Johnson explains, "We had Columbia Gas come out here. They said we had a leak in the furnace."

Johnson says they haven't even used it, but says the park won't fix it. So it's this family that's left to pay. "Our hot water is gas. Our cook stove is gas." She adds, "We need to get the gas turned on here."

Problem Solver Mika looked into it. Management says the furnace was certified by an HVAC contractor back in June. They didn't get a complaint about a leak until October, but even though they are not obligated legally, they have agreed to pay half.
