TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - New video into the newsroom of a police chase that happened right in News 11's backyard. It all came to an end on Summit Street, where officers caught up with a man was running from them.

Police arrested 23-year-old Charles Keiser after they say he didn't pull over when officer's tried to stop him at Summit and Cherry.

Police tell us Keiser tried to avoid them, and even drove through Promenade Park before ditching the car he was driving in a parking lot directly behind WTOL-TV. The chase didn't end there.

"He jumped out of the car and fled. He did not have a driver's license," says Toledo Police Sgt. Sean Hones.

Keiser told police he was scared to stop because he didn't have a license. Officers say the car does not belong to Keiser, although it has not been reported stolen. They also say they found some marijuana in the car.

No word on the exact charges Keiser is facing.
