Poll: Obama continues to lead McCain in Michigan

LANSING, Mich. (AP) - A new poll shows Democrat Barack Obama continuing to lead Republican John McCain in Michigan.

The EPIC-MRA poll released Thursday and conducted for The Detroit News and TV stations WXYZ, WILX, WOOD and WJRT showed Obama with 50 percent, McCain with 38 percent, 2 percent for other candidates and 10 percent undecided.

The telephone poll of 600 likely voters conducted Sunday through Tuesday has a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 4 percentage points.

An EPIC-MRA poll conducted Oct. 19-22 showed Obama leading with 51 percent, McCain with 37 percent, 2 percent for other candidates and 10 percent undecided. That was a telephone poll of 400 likely voters with a margin of sampling error of plus or minus 4.9 percentage points.
