Obama gets the word out through infomercial

NORFOLK, Va. (AP) - It may seem like Barack Obama is everywhere today.

His 30-minute campaign infomercial airs on CBS, NBC and Fox, as well as cable's Univision, BET, MSNBC and TV One at 8 p.m. Eastern time.

He's spending about $1 million per network.

A campaign adviser says the taped ad will also include a live cut-in to an Obama rally in Florida going on at the same time.

While he's in North Carolina for a rally today, Obama will be interviewed by ABC's Charlie Gibson. He's also set to pop up on late-night TV with Jon Stewart on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show."

Obama's day will wrap up with a second rally in Florida, where he'll be joined by former President Bill Clinton.
