TOLEDO (WTOL) - A former Hospice nurse accused of stealing pain medication prescribed for her patients learned her fate today.

Mary Mitchell was sentenced to three years of community control and six months in a treatment facility. She must complete a drug/alcohol treatment program and will submit to random drug tests.

Mitchell worked at Hospice of Northwest Ohio where she reportedly admitted to stealing drugs and having a drug problem.

Last month, she pleaded guilty to two counts of "theft of drugs."
