Luc. Cty corrections officer violated victims' rights

TOLEDO (WTOL) - A former Lucas County corrections officer could spend up to 12 years in federal prison for violating inmates' civil rights.

On Tuesday afternoon, a jury found 26-year-old Seth Bunke guilty of three of five counts against him, including the charge of kicking inmate Jeffrey Jones in July of 2007 and causing serious bodily injuries.

Bunke faces up to 10 years in jail on that conviction and one year each for the other two. He'll be sentenced in February.
