TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - Northwest Ohio's 15th annual Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure took place, Sunday morning, in downtown Toledo.
It was a time to remember loved ones who lost their lives in a battle with breast cancer, and a day to celebrate those who've fought that battle and won.
The 15th annual Susan G. Komen Race For The Cure was a huge success, thanks to many of you at home who came out to volunteer or participate.
Around 17,000 runners and walkers took the streets of Toledo, Sunday morning. Participants all shared the same goal, to help someday find a cure for breast cancer, so no one else has to join the fight.
