Man arrested for questionable activities with dog

TOLEDO -- A man was arrested at Rambo and Mapleview on Aug. 24 for disorderly conduct in public involving a dog.

Michael Hilsenbeck, 47, was reported to have been seen "at the corner exposing himself" by a woman who called 9-1-1 to report him. The woman reported the suspect was "lying on the ground with his legs open and a dog licking him."

When a police unit approached, the suspect was on the ground with a large yellow Irish Setter. He would not acknowledge the police officer. He later admitted that while playing with the dog, the dog began "humping" him, the official report states.

The suspect's car was parked at McGregor School with his shoes, socks and T-shirt inside, police say.

He was transported to the Lucas County Jail where he was booked and released.
