ELKTON, Ohio (AP) - The photo of a cocaine dealer who escaped form a federal prison in Ohio eight years ago will appear on billboards across the country after he was placed on the U.S. Marshals' list of "15 Most Wanted Fugitives."
Federal authorities said Thursday that 67-year-old David Lee Green is on the list for a June 19, 2000, escape from a prison in Elkton. He was serving 19 years and 7 months for cocaine distribution.
Officials say the Outdoor Advertising Association of America has agreed to post wanted posters featuring Green on highway billboards.
He also is wanted on charges of possession of a machine gun in Gwinnett County, Ga.
Authorities say Green supplied the Cleveland area with millions of dollars in cocaine in the 1980s and 1990s. He has been on the northern Ohio most wanted fugitive list for two years.
