Maumee Police to hold police academy

From a news release:

The Maumee Police Division will hold a Citizen Police Academy early this autumn. The purpose of the academy is to enhance the relationship between police division and the community. The Citizen Police Academy is designed to give members of the community an overview of what police work is like. Instructors will be members of the Maumee Police Division.  The eight-week course will run from Sept. 9 thru Oct. 28, 2008. Classes will be on Tuesday evenings from 6-10 PM, at the Maumee Police Building, 109 E. Dudley St.
