CAUGHT ON TAPE--Gas pump shooting confounds victim's son

CLEVELAND -- Police are investigating whether a shooting at a Cleveland gas station was a hate crime. The 49-year-old man was shot three times while pumping gas Friday night.

The whole thing was caught on tape. The Cleveland Chapter Council on American Islamic Relations says some people were mocking the Muslim man and his son right before the shots rang out.

"He was saying, you know, 'Get the hell out of there.' And I said 'Why are you mad?' And he told me 'You don't see these kids, you know, some of them behind you there, they're pointing at you with their fingers and they're just making fun, laughing at you,'" said Farhad Yakubov, the victim's son.

The victim remains in critical condition tonight. So far, no arrests have been made.
