PALM BEACH, FL (WFLX) -- Documents released Monday by the Palm Beach County School District included a termination notice and a sordid love letter between 23-year-old Natalie Fraxedas and one of her students. He's an 18-year-old she taught in Spanish class at Santaluces High School in Lantana.
In a three page love letter written to the young man, Fraxedas talks about one of the couple's sexual encounters, but expresses doubts about their relationship writing.
"At first, I thought you this was just a 'booty call', but then you wrote me this text that I actually saved...Give me a chance, and I'll show you I can handle a real relationship."
She realizes their relationship is forbidden and taboo.
"I want to be normal with you. I want us to go to the movies or out to dinner. I want to hold your hand and kiss you in public".
In a surprising twist, Fraxedas admits fixing his grades at Santaluces High.
"I give you good grades to help you out, so you don't have to worry about this class. I wish I could do more for you."
In the end, she says, sending text messages just isn't enough.
The teacher admits to having sex with the young man at least four times after he turned 18. However, because he is 18, she won't be facing any criminal charges.
Fraxedas lost her job with the school district following an investigation prompted by the student's father who discovered the letter. Both the student and the teacher denied having sex on campus. She said their encounters happened at her home.
WFLX-TV tried to get a comment from Fraxedas, but no one came to the door. But, the station did obtain a copy of the love letter by accessing Fraxedas' public school personnel file.
