News 11 just spoke to Ottawa County Sheriff Bob Bratton.
No injuries have been reported. He tells us they are experiencing flash floods and roads are hazardous. Also, power is out to thousands of customers, mainly in the Rocky Ridge and Elmore area.
Many roads all over the county are impassable.
The sheriff says SR-105 between Oak Harbor and Elmore is impassible because of standing water. He says ditches are overflowing along the road.
Also SR-2 has patches of standing water.
The sheriff tells us they literally do not have enough signs to put up at every flooded road. He cautions the flooded areas come up abruptly, and a danger is people driving the speed limit, then suddenly coming upon a flooded area. Please drive slowly and cautiously throughout Wood County.
