Owens Community College is reaching out to Woodward and Findlay High School graduates who think college is unaffordable.
Here's how this innovative program works: The graduate must first qualify for federal student aid. (Remember, federal student aid does not have to be paid back. The Owens staff will help with that paperwork.) The Owens Scholarship Program then pays the difference between the federal aid and the actual tuition.
This program is an experiment to encourage kids who might otherwise have dropped out, to finish high school.
Owens Community College is a realistic step toward a better future. If you are a Findlay or Woodward High School graduate and you aren't sure how to pay for college, visit the Owens Community College web site. You just might find the help you need.
