WATERVILLE, Ohio -- The results are in. Those paint chips that fell from the Waterville water tower last week do not contain hazardous material.
Residents became concerned because the chips fell on their lawns and a nearby school, but lab analysis and EPA standards concluded the chips do not contain lead.
Work on the water tower will continue Thursday with a protective cover.
