It's a ghost house -- and we don't mean 'Boo!'

SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP - It's a house complete with toys, furniture, a grill - and even two cars parked in the driveway.

Trouble is, no one lives there. And, quite frankly, say residents in the 300 block of Cheswick in Springfield Township, it's a mess.

One resident, wanting to see her neighborhood restored to its former loveliness, turned to Call 11 for Action's Mika Highsmith for help.

"It's very ugly," says Kristy Byrnes about the abandoned house she claims owners vacated three years ago. "I've even asked them to just haul the cars away. They wouldn't even just haul the cars away."

The structure itself is also bringing the neighborhood down -- with teens pitching rocks at the windows and the roof nearly in collapse.

"It hurts other people. There have been multiple houses for sale on this street and it's taking them a long time to sell," Byrnes says. "We can't get anyone to do anything about it."

The people who moved out still own the house. The township has assured Mika there will be an investigation.
