Two polygamous ranch children remain unaccounted for

An attorney is claiming two boys taken by authorities in a raid on a Texas polygamist compound earlier this month are unaccounted for.

The lawyer representing two mothers from the compound says the boys aren't on any of the state's placement lists. Child welfare officials tell a Corpus Christi newspaper that no children have been lost, but parent-child relationships are difficult to determine.

More than 460 children were taken amid abuse allegations and are being placed in shelters and group homes around the state.

The children lived an extremely sheltered life on the ranch. And caretakers are receiving cultural pointers on how to deal with them.

1 of the rules says the children can't wear anything that's red, since members of the polygamist sect believe red is reserved for Jesus Christ.
