TOLEDO -- Naomi George, 71, has been charged in the death of her niece, Lorna George, 52.
On Jan. 30 of this year, police were called to 1812 Ridgewood in north Toledo to investigate a death -- that of Lorna George.
Naomi George has been charged with reckless homicide and failure to provide for an impaired person. She had been her disabled niece's caretaker for 49 years.
George maintains she gave the best care she could. Now it's up to a jury to decide.
