SENECA COUNTY-- The commissioner of Seneca County Mike Bridinger, was found guilty Friday on a misdemeanor theft charge in Tiffin Municipal Court.

Bridinger pleaded guilty to the charge stemming from three separate incidents of theft from the same Tiffin store. He reportedly stole one package of Rolaids on three separate occasions: September 1, 7 and 9.

Bridinger must attend Insight Program by Wyandot Counseling Services (an 8-hour program for theft offenders) and perform 100 hours of community service. He'll also be entered into a diversionary program for two years.

Also, he'll have to pay $20 restitution to the Heritage IGA store and pay the city of Tiffin for costs and related expenses to the case.
