TOLEDO -- Months after an explosion blew out its stage schedule, a downtown Toledo theatre is ready to open its doors to the public once again.
News 11's Tanieya Lewis reported live at the Valentine Theatre where a new production is about to take stage.
The first show of the season is slated to open April 4. The performance will be The Piano Man, a tribute to Elton John and Billy Joel.
Crews are doing much of the "finishing" clean up by hand such as sweeping off chairs, vacuuming down curtains and wiping down woodwork.
In total, $3.5 million in work has been done.
