UPDATE: William Braylock, 39, has been arrested for the murder of Christopher Ross. Captain Carroll of the Toledo Police Department said the shooting happened as spillover from an earlier altercation in that neighborhood.
TOLEDO -- Christopher Ross, 17, was shot and killed around 1 p.m. Monday in the vicinity of Delaware and Lawrence, reports News 11's Lisa Rantala.
Witnesses say the boy and about 20 other teens were in the area when a man came out of a house with a gun. The teens began to run, and the man shot three times, hitting one of the boys, we have been told.
Witnesses are being questioned. One girl said the shooting happened because of something that was going on in the neighborhood but that her friend -- the boy who died -- was "a good person."
