I-75 southbound at the Michigan/Ohio border was closed Wednesday for about four hours due to a crash involving two semis and a Toledo police car.
It happened near Alexis Road. We're told the police car spun out on a patch of ice and slid across three lanes of traffic.
A propane tanker behind the police car was able to stop, but a semi truck wasn't.
That semi hit the propane tanker. The semi driver has a broken arm.
The police officer was taken to the hospital with back injuries.
