Bible Study & Prayer Meeting:
The Bedford Alliance Church began in 1983 as an extension ministry of the West Central District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. This ministry consisted of a weekly Bible study and Prayer Meeting. These meetings took place in the homes of several believing families.

First Sunday Service:
In 1984, the first Sunday service was held. About 50 believers attended. As the size of the congregation grew, the services were temporarily relocated to a nearby school administration building during the same year.

Officially Incorporated:
In 1985, Bedford Alliance Church became officially incorporated in Michigan and the Christian and Missionary Alliance. Membership was made up of families that transferred from other area churches.

Family Life Center:
Experiencing continued growth, the Family Life Center was added to the church building in 1991. This addition provided us with more Sunday School rooms, an office, kitchen, and a full-size gymnasium.

Expanded Classrooms:
The Lord continued to shower His many blessings upon us as our membership grew. In 2003, two new classroom wings were built for our Sunday School & educational programs. In addition, worship services were moved from the sanctuary to the gymnasium to accomodate the increased seating requirements for our congregation and guests.
