New this morning.. A bill passed by the Ohio senate is expected to raise electric rates in northwest Ohio. Toledo Mayor Carty Finkbeiner says he wants to do something about it.
The bill will re-establish state regulation of the sale of electricity. Mayor Finkbeiner says rates in Toledo would increase, and they are already among the highest in the state.
Tuesday Finkbeiner and Commissioner Pete Gerken will discuss how they plan to work with the Ohio house to keep electric bills from rising.
