TOLEDO -- A Toledo man will spend several years in prison for locking his son in a dog cage.
Thursday in court, John Westover pleaded "no contest" to child endangering and was found guilty. He was then sentenced to four years in prison.
Police say he punished his 10-year-old son by making him sit in a dog cage and zapping him with a pet collar.
The boy's mother, Jessica Botzko, pleaded "no contest" last week and was sentenced.
