TOLEDO -- Toledo Police need your help finding a man they're calling armed and dangerous, reports News 11's Lisa Rantala.
Detectives from the Auto Theft Task force contacted us saying the suspect should not be approached and is still in the area. Police tell us this man has 13 outstanding warrants right now -- most for property crime. But he can be dangerous, they say.
That's why they want him to turn himself in or someone to give his whereabouts. Police call 25- -year-old Jason Duhart, also known as "Oinky," a career criminal. Sergeant Paul Hickey, from the Auto Theft Task Force, says Duhart got out of jail a year ago.
But now he's wanted for stealing a high performance car engine in July and keeping it in his father's garage. The day before that, Duhart was accused of hitting his father with a chair and shooting at him with a gun.
Hickey says Duhart is failing to show up for court on a burglary charge from February. He's accused of breaking into a Heathshire Dr. home and stealing thousands of dollars worth of goods.
Police say "Oinky" has fought with them before, claiming he had a gun. Now they say it's time he goes back to jail.
If you've seen him, call CrimeStopper at 419-255-1111.
