Denise Brown in Findlay for domestic violence talk

FINDLAY, OH -- A woman who has become an advocate for domestic violence victims after the death of her sister 13 years ago made an appearance in Findlay last night.

Denise Brown spoke at a dinner at the Open Arms Domestic Violence Shelter.

Brown is the sister of Nicole Brown Simpson who was a victim of domestic violence at the hands of her ex- husband OJ Simpson.

Denise won't talk about her former brother in law, except to say every time he's in the news for some reason, it gives her an opportunity to talk about the cycle of violence and raise awareness. "I have no time for him," she said, "We have to focus on the good and positive."

Denise Brown also gave a $10 thousand check to the Open Arms Shelter from the Nicole Brown Foundation.
