Crews Cut Car to Get Crash Victim Out

NORTH TOLEDO -- Rescue crews cut a person out of a car after a nasty crash with a semi.  It happened at Stickney and South Expressway Drive in north Toledo around 3:30 Saturday morning.

Police say a car entered the intersection, and slammed into the side of a semi that was going through.  A passenger in the car was able to get out and suffered no injuries, but rescue crews had to cut apart the car to get the driver out.

The driver was taken to The Toledo Hospital with unknown injuries.  The driver of the semi was not hurt.
