Amber Alert Helps Find Missing Child

DELAWARE -- Police in Delaware, near Columbus, have found a child after issuing a regional Amber Alert.  Police say the child's father has violent tendencies, and also has a history of domestic violence with the mother.

The alert was issued at 12:30pm, and the child was found within the hour.  Here's the copy from the alert:

BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR A MISSING OR ABDUCTED CHILD FROM DELAWARE COUNTY, OH.  LAST SEEN ON 3812 E POWELL RD IN THE CITY OF DELAWARE AT 9/10/2007 12:00:00 AM.

INFORMATION AS OF 09/10/2007 12:36:24 PM.

THE SUSPECT IS BELIEVED TO BE DRIVING A BLUE 2004 TOYOTA UNKNOWN MODEL CAR WITH LICENSE PLATE DRB9935 FROM THE STATE OF OH.

THE CHILD'S NAME IS DAMON SPADE AGE 19 MOS OLD. A WHITE MALE HEIGHT 2 FEET 6 INCHES WEIGHING 25 POUNDS WITH BLONDE OR STRAWBERRY HAIR AND BLUE EYES.  THE CHILD WAS LAST SEEN 3812 E POWELL RD WEARING PLAID SHIRT, TAN PANTS, SANDELS.

THE SUSPECT'S NAME IS CHRISTOPHER SPADE SUSPECT IS A WHITE MALE APPROXIMATELY 37 YRS OLD WITH BLONDE OR STRAWBERRY HAIR BLUE EYES, LAST SEEN WEARING: UNKNOWN. HEIGHT 5 FEET 10 INCHES. WEIGHT 175 POUNDS.

    The semi is now off the roadway, but crews are still working to clean up the spill and debris from the median.

    A reward is now being offered in the disappearance of a McComb teenager. Police say 16-year-old Xavier Terry was last seen July 31st.  He has a tattoo of a dagger on his left arm that reads "Layla."  It is not clear where Terry could be.
