OTTAWA COUNTY -- The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office says SR 2 is open again after being closed near the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station following a car crash. Ottawa County Sheriff Bob Bratton tells News 11 a 2-car crash was blocking the road near Toussaint East Road.
Bratton says some people were pinned in the wreckage, and there may be fatality. Two people were taken to the hospital.
Rescuers wanted to use Life Flight to carry patients to the hospital, but apparently Life Flight was grounded by the rainy weather.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating, along with the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department.
