MONCLOVA -- A 4-year-old girl from Monclova is looking for a path to a cure. Kaylee Halko has Progeria Syndrome, a disease that ages her body 8 to 10 times faster than typical children.
Kaylee's growth is stunted, she's lost her hair, and she faces very early on-set of heart disease, stroke and arthritis.
This weekend, walkers and runners will participate in a benefit 5k race and a 2-mile walk to raise money for Progeria research. Here's what you need to know:

Kaylee just started taking part in an experimental drug trial at Childrens Hospital of Boston. It's hoped the drug will slow or stop the progression of the disease. Her mother Marla says it's the only hope.
