NORTH TOLEDO -- Police are still trying to figure out what happened to a woman who was found in a pool of blood in north Toledo. The incident was first reported around 3:30am on Wednesday morning.
Police say the woman was a regular at Zinger's Food and Spirits in the 900th block of Stickney. Bar patrons say no one saw her leave in the hours after midnight on Wednesday morning, but they found her outside in the parking lot. She was laying on the pavement, bleeding.
Rescuers took her to St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center, where doctors pronounced her dead.
Detectives think she was run over by a car, and it possibly was intentional.
