Mejdara and Cucumber Yogurt Dip

This recipe is for two people

1 Cup Brown Lentil Beans
1 Cup Rice
2 Cups Water
1/2 tsp. Salt

Boil Water.
Add Beans... stir for ten minutes.
Add Rice and Salt.

In Separate pan:
1/2 Cup Olive Oil
2 Cups finely chopped Onions
Mix in with Lentil.
Garnish with pickled turnips and onions.

Cucumber Yogurt Dip
1 Cup plain Yogurt
1 Cup chopped Cucumber
3/4 tsp. Garlic Powder or 2 crushed cloves
Pinch of salt
Pinch of dry mint.

Use as a topping over lentil dish.
