  • Make sure that you are properly warmed up before weight lifting. 5-10 minutes on a bike, treadmill, EFX, etc at least.
  • Always work larger muscle groups first when weight training.
  • Make sure that you never lose good form for the sake of another repetition or more weight - form is EVERYTHING!
  • DRINK - DRINK - DRINK water before, during and after your workouts!
  • Wearing heavy warm-up suits or plastic sweat clothes during any workout is in NO way beneficial.  It actually communicates to your body to hold on to fat and can be VERY dangerous!
  • What you eat after your workout will be completely absorbed since the body is depleted of nutrients during.  So, pick very healthy foods after your workouts.
