TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - Early voting for the Nov. 6 election starts today in Ohio. Michigan does not offer early voting.
Votes can be cast by mail or at local county boards of elections.
In-person voting sites generally open at 8 a.m. and close at 5 p.m., with some extended hours as Election Day nears. In Lucas County, the hours are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays through Oct. 26.
For the week of Oct. 29, the center is open from 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
Weekend voting is available from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. on Oct. 27 and Nov. 3 (Saturdays) and from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. on Nov. 4 (Sunday).
The Lucas County Early Voting Center is located at 1301 Monroe St. in Toledo.
Early in-person voting is available until Monday, Nov. 5. That day, early voting closes at 2 p.m.

Polls will be open in Ohio from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and from 7 a.m, to 8 p.m. in Michigan on Election Day.
