TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - Toledo police apprehended the driver of a vehicle that they say rear-ended a school bus with preschoolers on board Monday morning.
The suspect, Delano Curvin, is behind bars and expected in court on Tuesday.
The bus was rear-ended at Manhattan and Chestnut with two preschoolers on board around 8:30 a.m.
Police say the driver fled the scene after hitting the bus.
Two TPD officers later spotted the vehicle and pursued it to an apartment complex near Manhattan and Suder.
Police say the suspect fled on foot into the complex where they were later found in an apartment and taken into custody.
Police say no one on the bus was injured in the crash.
