DUNDEE, MI (WTOL) - A suspicious incident that happened last Tuesday involving a Dundee Community Schools student and an older male subject, has been resolved.
The incident took place within the Village of Dundee on Toledo Street near Monroe.
Dundee Police said the student was walking to school when the older male pulled up to the student and asked several times if he needed a ride before he left the area.
Since then, the older male has been identified and interviewed.
The older male explained to police that he thought the student was his grandson whom suffers from PTSD and other medical conditions.
The elderly man said he knows his grandson usually walks around town, and because he thought the student was his grandson, he asked him if a ride was needed.
The man said once he realized the student was not his grandson, he left the area without further incident.
