TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - WTOL 11 is partnering with the American Red Cross to raise money for those affected by what is now Tropical Storm Florence.
Florence was once a powerful Category 4 hurricane and hit the East Coast as a Category 1 hurricane, leaving several people dead and nearly 1 million people without power.
WTOL will be hosting a Florence Relief Phone Bank at the station to raise money for food, shelter and anything else needed to help out with the devastation left by Florence.
WTOL and the Red Cross are hoping to raise as much money, if not more, for Florence survivors as we raised for Hurricane Harvey survivors last year.
The phone bank will be held on September 17 from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m.
You can call into the station anytime between those hours if you would like to donate to help those affected by this powerful storm.
You can reach the phone bank by calling 419-725-1600.
