TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - Toledo Police Chief George Kral wasn't kitten around Friday morning!
He got a very special visit from Pawficer Cuffs, the new TPD police cat.
This is the first time Cuffs has been at the Safety Building.
The department adopted Cuffs from the Toledo Area Humane Society recently after a social media challenge.
"We are coming up with a job description and his responsibilities, but yeah, we're going to try to get the cat out as much as possible so people can get to see it and get to know him," said Chief Kral.
The department believes Cuffs will be the purrfect officer to help with community engagement and promote local pet adoptions.
