OTTAWA HILLS, OH (WTOL) - First responders and the public remembered the events of September 11, 2001 at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Tuesday morning.
The cemetery has held the remembrance every year since the attacks on the U.S.
"To have a moment of silence to reflect on those families who lost loved ones during the tragedy September 11, 2001. At Ottawa Hills Memorial Park we want to recognize those families, recognize those public servants, who lost their lives when the country was attacked," said Jim Szakovits.
Prayers and a dove release were part of the memorial.
