The 6-foot-8 inch shooting guard contributed solid minutes in 21 games for the Cavs last season.
Acquired by the Cavaliers from the Utah Jazz, he struggled to get a rhythm going early, but adjusted to his role in the playoffs.
Hood started a total of 11 games last season and averaged 10.8 points and 2.6 rebounds in 25.3 minutes per game.
According to Yahoo Sports, Hood signed a deal for $3.4 million.

Rodney Hood is a true baller. He was out of rhythm and just in an awkward/frustrating spot from the moment he got traded to Cleveland and when his number was called he was still able to be a scorer and impact player on both ends in a Finals game ???????? pic.twitter.com/31yoVgdB89— Ball Don't Stop (@balldontstop) September 9, 2018
Fans are anxious to see how he will perform with the Cavs in the post-LeBron era.
