Bedford to put safety bond on November ballot.

BEDFORD, MI (WTOL) - Bedford residents will vote on a new bond issue this November.

Earlier this month, the board of education approved putting the safety bond on the ballot.

It would generate more than $35 million over 20 years, and will cost the owner of a $200,000 home about $200 a year.

The money will be used to address safety needs and building updates across the district.
