Toledo man indicted on 2 counts of bank robbery

A Toledo man has been indicted for robbing two banks in early July. Robert Andrew Harris, 41, is accused of robbing the Citizens Bank on S. Detroit Street in Toledo on July 9 and the Fifth Third Bank on Woodville Road in Northwood on July 11.

TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - A Toledo man has been indicted for robbing two banks in early July.

Robert Andrew Harris, 41, is accused of robbing the Citizens Bank on S. Detroit Street in Toledo on July 9 and the Fifth Third Bank on Woodville Road in Northwood on July 11.

 If he is convicted, his sentence will be determined by the court after it has reviewed multiple factors unique to the case.

This would include a prior criminal record, if any, the defendant's role in the offense and the characteristics of the violation.

In this case, the FBI is investigating and the case is being handled by Assistant United States Attorney Matthew Simko.
