Findlay police are investigating a robbery attempt at the Hancock Federal Credit Union that took place Thursday afternoon. Police say that a suspect entered the Hancock Federal Credit Union, 125 W. Trenton Ave., at about 1:20 p.m.

FINDLAY, OH (WTOL) - Findlay police are investigating a robbery attempt at the Hancock Federal Credit Union that took place Thursday afternoon.

Police say that a suspect entered the Hancock Federal Credit Union, 125 W. Trenton Ave., at about 1:20 p.m.

The suspect is believed to be a male, with an unknown complexion. It was reported at the scene that the suspect a handgun.

The suspect made a verbal demand for cash, but then fled the building.

It was determined that nothing was taken during the incident.

The suspect was described as wearing all black clothing, gloves and a white plastic mask. At this time, officers have been unable to locate the suspect.

The incident remains under investigation. There were no injuries as a result of the incident.
