TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - Toledo police are looking for a man who broke into Blessed Sacrament School.

The breaking and entering is believed to have occurred sometime between July 22 and 29.

The incident was reported by the maintenance supervisor on July 30.

Police say he arrived to the elementary school around 6:30 a.m. and found an officer door opened that should have been closed.

After further inspection of the building, the supervisor discovered several rooms with doors open, including the kindergarten room where a window was damaged.

Police say he then called the police, who went through the building and saw that several rooms had been entered or damaged.

The maintenance supervisor and a business manager who arrived on the scene said that an undetermined number of Apple iPads were missing from the IT computer room.

The supervisor told police that the alarm system in the elementary school automatically sets at 11 p.m, and the last time people would have been on site was 1 p.m.

Police say a kitchen door which is normally locked was found unlocked, and may be where the suspect exited the building.

Anyone with information should call Crime Stopper at 419-255-1111.
