TOLEDO, OH (WTOL) - It's time to head back to school, but that comes with a price tag.
And when students don't have the necessary tools to succeed, that can add extra stress they don't need.
Family House in Toledo is the second-largest homeless shelter in the state of Ohio.
They are currently housing 70 children, all of whom are gearing up for the school season.
Yet the shelter isn't asking for pencils and paper, but instead items you might not think of.
Family House is asking for donations of:
- Plastic bags of all sizes
- Hand sanitizer
- Clorox wipes
- Dry erase markers
- Uniforms of all sizes
These donations can be dropped off at Family House, located at 669 Indiana Avenue.
