It was a little muggy out for 18 holes, but that didn't stop people from hitting a few shots on Monday.

The golf outing at Brandywine Country Club was to raise funds for the Aurora Project.

Events like this one mean so much to local organizations.

"Raising money for homeless women and children and because of that what we will do with the money raised here will continue to go back to Aurora to provide direct services to the families that we are serving and right now there are such a great need in the community to serve these families," said Denise Fox, executive director of the Aurora Project.

Our own Robert Shiels was out on the course, cheering on our team, along with our general manager, and several others from our WTOL family.
