LUCAS COUNTY (WTOL) - Friday is the first day of the sales tax holiday in Ohio. So anyone who has not done done their back-to-school shopping yet, should shop now.
This weekend, Ohio shoppers can save money and shop tax-free on certain items like back-to--school supplies and clothing
Shoppers can save up $75 on clothing and $20 on school supplies. Even though back-to-school items are the main tax-free offers, the holiday can help anyone looking to save a few bucks.
This is the third time Ohio has enacted a sales tax holiday.
There are nine other states will be doing this same thing this weekend. The Ohio senate approved a bill earlier this year making the holiday permanent which has made many people happy.
The sales tax holiday lasts until 11:59 p.m. on Sunday.
